Obesity Surgeon’s License Suspended
Dr. Sheldon Randell has performed more then 6,000 weight-loss operations in his 30 year career. On August 16, 2013 Randall’s medical license was suspended, he was accused of a pattern of negligence and declaring him an “immediate and serious threat” to the public. “I was informed a few years ago at a medical conference that when Massachusetts General Hospital began enforcing washing by all including MDs, RNs, etc the in hospital infection rate dropped 60%. Some hospitals, including Massachusetts General Hospital, now use “spies” to monitor washing compliance and grades individuals.
